Anybody use the Johnny Morris gold eries reels

I see BPS reduced them from 269 to $169. Was thinking of trying one but they are out in denham springs. Not sure if i want a new curado e7 or one of these for my loomis i bought.

I am late on this one. You made a wise choice. I have a Johnny Morris gold and it's not the worst reel I have but it's not even worth the sale price

that seems to being the standard answer from the guys who bought them. thats why i like to ask on here and the lounge sometimes you can save yourself a headache! Now if timmaahh would have asked before he bought a gnat like papa roger we could have enlightened him!

Those curados are great reels. I bought two of them when they first released the E7 and they have held up great. I use those reels mainly for trout and reds and they have been excellent.

HEEEEYYYYYYY there is nothing wrong with owning a quality boat like a Triton. Mine is only 4 mph slower than your Cat was and you had an extra 25 horses. Whats up with that?

Your are right Roger...didn't think about it this way. But if nobody knows what project X is none of us will have the perfect rig.
