    North pass

I did so well yesterday after noon, I thought it might be worth trying again today. We didn't get much more than a few bites out of those lillies first thing this morning.
After fishing for several hours we decided to make another pass at the lillies and they were there again. We only caught 4 today in about 45 minutes. All were caught on Zoom horn toads today. They didn't want much to do with buzz baits today.

For anyone who wants to give this a try, here is the location. It will be worth trying any day you have a bit extra time before putting the boat on the trailer

That area is doing ok. I have caught quite a few bass in that spot and some others within a mile of there. If the storms hold off that place will be real good next year or too.

Yeah the grass beds just north west of there hold some fish too, but Ben couldn't catch them for the mini.

Hell, I don't even own a net. I have never caught anything that I would have needed a net for.

If I keep fishing behind you I'm sure I will luck up and find the one you missed.

I figure if I don't have a net I will have a better chance of "needing" it than if I had one

    Re: North pass (Thefisherman64)

Glad to hear it. I don't get a chance to fish the area because of the
big boats and bar hoppin crowd. But I have been wanting to go. I have been
passing on the bridge drooling over the Lillie pads and grass I finally saw growing.
Seems like they came late this year.
