    Another trip to Black Bayou

We found a good day was in the cards for the wife and I, she caught 3 bass in the 1.5 lb range on T-Rig baby brush-hogs. I caught 3 bass that I would say were in all bit smaller, but I also caught 2 choupique, one gar about 2 ft, and a 7 to 8 lb freshwater drum. They were all caught on watermelon seed baby brush hogs. I threw quite a few other things to try to find some other pattern, but waisted my time.

I went yesterday morning for a few hrs and we only caught 3. 2 on junebug baby brush hogs an one on a white chatter bait. I was back on the trailer by 10:45, to go watch my sons baseball game. I also had a 2 foot gar hit my chatter bait. I let him shake off. I didn't want no part of trying to get the hook out of his mouth.

    Bump,
Did you launch at Bedico, or Lee's landing on the Tangipahoa River??

That just goes to show how the human mind does not really READ the words we see, more of just scan them over. I just knew the topic was about Bayou Black and not Black Bayou! So, don't worry, I'm in the same boat as you.

I mis-read it too. Sounds like a typical run for here anyways. My brother and I both caught "gaspa goo" which is close to freshwater drum?(I think) And the garfish are all over the place too.
