    How about this prop?

A member here shipped me this prop from IL to test out and If it runs good on my boat then I am going to trade him for my regular tempest 25 pitch. It is a 23m that was sent to mark to get some cup added to it. It is the older M props I think he said that it is like a 99 modle, but he uses it for a spare. The prop has no marks/dings on it. My question is the holes that are on the bottom of the prop, do they act as exhaust relief holes. The tempest I have Bo drilled holes in it b4 I bought it and my hole shot is good. Just curious if the holes in the prop are the same. And why are they U shaped? Hopefully this prop runs well on my boat! If you look at the bottom of the first pict there is a 24 stamped on it. THe guy said he couldnt remmeber if mark made the prop a 24 pitch??

I have 23M on my boat and works great. Now with that said, i never tried other props or had mine worked. So. I don't see why it wouldn't work. Let us know.

That should work. I would send the numbers to Mark. If they are his he can look it up and tell you the specs. I sounds like it may be a 24 pitch. Your boat should be able to turn the 24. I just put my 23M back on and spun it to 6000. I would think on that bug boat you could probably do that with the 24.

Well I tested it in the intercoastal yesterday and wasnt pleased. turned it 5100-5150 RPMS at WOT at 57 with two ppl and half a tank of gas. The lift was better than my tempest, but performace is about the same really. I am getting a little more slip out of the tempest though........i guess its back to the drawing boards...

You need a Stock 23m to start with.
