    Spillway...

Put in at bell river public landing and fished the zig zag, middle fork area yesterday and didnt catch a fish! Water was rising and the wind was terrible. That is the first trip that I have made this yr in that area since gustav, and let me tell ya it aint the same as before! I could go to that area and catch 20 fish or so prior to gustav no matter the conditions.....That is the first time I have struck out in a LONG time!!! ....Well thats why they call it fishing!

I know exactly what you mean. I was on the other end around Cross Bayou, Catfish, Murphy Lake areas and had the same luck. I did find some decent looking water but couldn.t even buy a bite. Neither could ny two boys who were with me.

They tried for bream a few times too but struck out. It's been a long time since they couldn't even catch a bream.

Was a rough weekend but we still had fun hanging out at the camp and all. Was the first time back in there since the weekend Gustav hit.

gotta leave sorrel hit the river turn left go a few miles(get a map) there are some oil fields on the far side of the river. Check them. Duck lake area is a big area and you just got to find them!
