Hi to all,
As the title says I'm new to the forum. I just bought me a new rig and I'm ready to start fishing it. I'm looking for some spots pretty close to home to fish. I live in Slidell and have for the last 13 years but I have not Bass fished this area. I'm from Belle Chasse and have bass fished all over but just not this area. Let me know when anyone is ready to fish or possibly fill me in on where to find them around here.

welcome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! A few of us will be at the hwy90 launch on the est pearl tommorrow. there is an open tx and some of the guys are fishing. i am working dogs and wont be off in time for that. i will have my new cat out to play with a triton at weigh in. By the looks of the rig you kind of like rebel1 you can pass either of us at will. we only in the 80-82 range. You more than welcome to go fish as i am sure the open tx would love to have you are just come hang out with us afterwards weathewr permitting. doug

I don't really know any numbers yet. I just got finished my break in. I actually fished today around the lake area of Morgan City. Yea I know it was a long haul. We did pretty good though. I still need to add a good fish finder and work with some props. I have a 27p right now and I'm quite sure it's going to be my back up. I need to get ahold of a Txp 29 or a 30. I'm pretty sure thats what its going to take. Thanks for the welcome. I will be burning up the water soon enough.

Dont tell anybody you know the Lake keep that our secret!We fish all over i fish mostly the basin, marsh, verret areas. i will venture out to henderson,false river, the pearl as well. used to love delacroixbut its kind of off since gustav.

Welcome to BBC Tommy. I have a 29 & 30 ASX you can try, as long as your lower unit doesn't have the Fat shaft, they will fit.

Roger you could probably talk smack to me. I have a 150 but it is on a Ranger.
