How did you do out in Lake Verret? I went to the Y late this morning and the 3 I caught would have went 9 or 10 ponuds in a Tourney. Got my biggest one on video.

Me and Gunrunner went today made an afternoon trip. started at 1230 fished til dark. Caught 11 or 12 total and had 5-6 keepers best one 3.5 lbs rest 14-15 inches. When the sun gets high they are nosed up to the bank in the shallows. when the sun broke over the trees this evening and it got shady they shutdown. It wasnt a bad trip first time since the hurricanes i have fished down there. Havent fished at all since october(hunting season)! Lost 2 more good fish i saw.
