I took Monday off to take a day trip to the Bend. Been watching the weather all week and it's still the same for Monday. Front pushing thru early and windy. Wondering if it's worth the drive or should I stay local. Do these early front have an effect on the fish like the ones late in the winter? Another factor is the wind. Hate to get out there and take off and it's windy as hell with 10' seas. Any suggestions or tips?????

Don,t think the front will be that big a deal right now. May push your bite back a little later in the am. You have always got to respect the wind-period. That being said, if you have a protected launch site wind should not be a problem because the fish should be headed to the back of the coves. JMHO TBJ
hook on and go!!! don't ever let a front stop you from going, some of my best days have been days that i've hesitated on going. october, november, and december are some of the best day's on toledo, i have been smoking fish on jigs 10-12' grass. know what your winds are going to be, pull out a map and pick a protected area and just FISH!
Well looks like it's a no go. Went and filled up the truck and boat then decided to put the muffs on in the yard. Well, it didn't "pee". Then ran water thru the flush hose, put muffs back on and "peed" real soft, not like normally. Then got the overheat alarm......
