Looking for a slightly different venue for our Tourney next week...kinda like a Day on the Lake Tourney. Since Gustav has killed most of the fish in the Spillway, we are looking for a different place to have our T next Saturday. I was thinking this area because it would put everyone on an even playing feild and see who could adapt to the changes the best.

If it's like Chicot, you can't keep any fish inside the slot. If I remember correctly, theirs is a 14-18" slot.

Fished it last Nov. 16 to 20 slot, 10 bass limit, They have since added a ton of forage fish, shad , minnows, etc. Had no trouble catching a limit of very healthy bass. May be worth a try. On a good note, there is no jet-skis allowed, all idle zone so fuel consumption is low.

Fish bayou lacombe and that area regularly but have had no reports since the storm. heard delacroix is messed up but i cant get reports all my sources working too much!
