bayou segnette?

i was wondering if anyone could give me an idea of the water conditions for the area. i am a co-angler for the weekend series and have never fished out there before. is there mostly grass everywhere? thanks

i launch from pier 90 and go into cataouchie. i guess thats how you spell it. and there is grass just below the water surface on most of that side of the lake. a lot of it above the waterline too.

Grass just about everywere in Lake Cataouatche the water is green on the East side of the lake river brown in the middle and clear on the west. The water is also clear just about any where else.
