I was sitting here thinking---- why do guys from the north go south to fish & guys from the south swamp go north to fish on the same weekend?????? knowing that both places "SUCK" this weekend........last night news & newspaper said they were going to be closing the sea/wall gates in some places to block out the high water coming south........now that's telling me something bad is in store for this weekend...... at least it will be equal for everyone......... I'm thinking of hitting the INtercoastal waterway and heading to Venice, surely the Gulf will not be rising as fast as the spillway......

KWD306, if you think it was bad yesterday, wait til Saturday (Matt). The water came up 3" yesterday and looks like it will continue to rise. You can bet someone will show up with a good sack, they always do.

yeah, by Sat. morning the level should be around 6.9 to 7.3 and rising........good fishing water with tree tops.........the "marsh" is looking better & better,,,,,,but with tide coming in all morning & water rising and going into the marsh, that will be be messed up too! Ricky196
