25" shaft on 200 Pro XS

How would one convince Merc to build a 200 Pro Xs with a 25" shaft also? All the other models are available in 25"?

They basically do.... except for some decals and carbon fiber reeds.

The Standard 25" 200 will run VERY strong.

Haven't heard of any plans to expand the "ProXS label" into the 25" model (at least not yet).

Of course.... if you want to order about a thousand units, anything is possible.....

Speaking of Carbon Fiber reeds is that something that could be added to my 06 200 Opti?

When i use to snowmobile, that was always a awsome mod and safe to add to the engine, with a little jetting, the results were always quite impresive

I don't recommend modifying the reed configuration on an Optimax Engine. It can (potentially) result in a lean running condition, and eventual powerhead damage.

The "Speed/Density" fuel injection system used on these engines has no means of "realizing" (or compensating for) a change in airflow.
