hello,looking for some help.i had the water pump changed in march.my problem is when the water in cool in the spring and fall the boat runs good,but when the water is hot it over heats on me. i am in Louisiana and i brought it to a few people and they can't find nothing wrong with it.the motor is all the way down,my water presure is 20-22.it is a 1998 motor and it has the up grades.can some of you help me with this.it is in a 1995 ranger 361.

Thanks for saying that it is a 1998 Evinrude motor, but how about the hp and model number also? They made a lot of mid-year changes on those motors.
Do you get an HOT lite on the SytemCheck gauge or a CHECK ENGINE lite?

yes seahorse i got a temp gauge and it gets to about 215 somewhere near there and the computer shuts down.when it shuts down temp gauge is maxed out.it is a 175 ficth.not sure of the model number i could get it.
