    Fuel and additives?

I recently picked up my first bass boat and it did not come with any manuals or instructions.

I have a 2002 TR21 w/ a 225 Mercury Optimax. What octane fuel should I run? Also what additives should be used and how often.

I'm a total noob with my bass boat.

87 Octane is find to run, no more than 89 Octane. Plus Mercury Quickleen in every gallon of gas that goes in your boat. 1oz to 6 gallons of gas.

    That should cover it.

87 Octane, Quickleen in every gallon of fuel, and a good quality fuel stabilizer any time your fuel "will not be consumed, and replaced with fresh within 15 days".
