Cheaper to keep a kid in tourney fishing than paying attorneys to keep them out of jail !!
if there not running much water , i'm betting the ramp area is froze over![]()
Maybe Roger Teal will chime in, he fishes there some over the winter months![]()
I'm wondering the same thing, haven't been over there in a while. Sounds like hot water discharge is very inconsistent. Saw on another forum where one day water temps where in the 60's, the next day 40's.
I live real close to the lake and went across the dam yesterday. The dam area is iced over but the ice appears to stop before it gets to the marina. Your right, they aren't putting out as much hot water. I've heard that one of the units is down for repair. I've been there twice this year and did catch some fish but not as many as I usually do.
If I go that way today I'll go by the marina and see for sure and let everyone know.
It'd be great to find out, thanks![]()
Every number I find online seems to be disconnected...
Hook up and head out Caseynice day for a little drive

Ya know I crappie fished with a guy in Dec who flew right they thick ice while on plane. The sound was horrendous but he got thru just fine and were no marks what so ever left on the boat. Don't think I could force myself to do it thou![]()
I tried idling through some ice one time knowing it was fairly thick but I figured if I went slow I would be fine. The farther I got the thicker it got and started lifting the boat instead of breaking. I got this odd feeling I was some where I shouldn't and backed out.... luckily![]()

Back in my younger years I did that. I didn't have far to go to get to open water once so I stood on the front deck and jumped up and down until it broke through. Took awhile but finally made it to the open water. I wouldn't do that now. I'm older and wiser to the cost to fix stuff......
Can someone report back on lacygne? I'm thinking of heading over tomorrow to get some more hours in on the motor.
