What temp should my 250XS run at?

2008 model. I noticed last night that it seems to run right at 120 degrees at wot. Is this correct? Water temp was 76 and air temp 85-90.

    Yes,
The 250XS has 120 degree thermostats in it.

Actually- it has 130 degree thermostats.

WOT engine temps will vary with water temperature (substantially). This is due to the fact that at higher RPMS, the "poppet valve" is controlling water flow (and not the thermostats).

You should be able to achieve AT LEAST 120 degrees at idle speed, and may see temps as high as 145-150 under some circumstances (at idle).
