got on the water at 11 am off at 4:15 pm.. caught 9 LM , 5 smallies, 4 Whitties and 1 Big Walleye.. the bite was tough .. everyone was catching fish,, there was 4 boats there.. the biggest LM was 18 1/2" most of them were around 2 pounds , all but 1 was caught on a LV500 the other was caught on a shakey head, i had a 20 1/4", 18 1/2", 17 1/2", 16" and a 15" smallie the 17 1/2" came on a Green Pumpkin /jelly 1/2oz football head Fitzwater Jig,, the 16" and 15" came on a H20 trap type bait.. the 2 big ones came 20 minutes before quiting time , i had just switched to a Bomber Square Bill yellow/brown back and made 2 cast when i caught the biggest one, made 3 more cast and caught the 18 1/2" one.. the walleye hit the LV500 , as i was netting it and thinking supper i hit the bait and knocked it out of it's mouth ( Damn ) i'd say it was 20" or better... i seen another guy catch a 19 3/4" and a 18 1/2'' Smallie on top water ( skitter walk ) you had to work hard for them , but the ones we were catching were good ones.. water temp was from 66* to 72 * should get good in the next few days... didn't see any Gators![]()
