    Did I Mention JROTC Drill Meets Started Last Weekend?

    I guess with all the to do over the LBC Banquet and watching playoff football I forgot to mention that Leavenworth High attended their first JROTC Drill meet of the season last Saturday at North East High in KC. Several historically good schools were there including Junction City, Topeka West, both Bellview's from Nebraska I want to say 13 in all... Anyway the Leavenworth Girls Exhibition Team took First, the Boys Exhibition Team took First and LHS took First overall... A good way for the kids to start the year. I have some pics at home of the Girls Color Guard. I will try to remember to get them posted later.

    Cheaper to keep a kid in tourney fishing than paying attorneys to keep them out of jail !!
