Got a friend with a mid 90's Ranger with a Mariner 150 wanting somewhere in the 6500 range if your interested. He's in Emporia.

Jay, friend of mine has a 95 SKeeter ZX200 with a merc 200 black max on it. It was recently re-powered and has less than 30 hours on the new power head. He has a brand new cover for it. Tandem axle trailer, red and black boat. Garage kept since he has owned it in 97.

On a separate note, what do property taxes run in KS? I heard they were outrageous but some of that was supposed to change and I never heard much of a result. Tandem trailers have to be tagged and registered here, correct? How much does that usually run? I appreciate the help guys.

Tandem trailers have to be tagged and registered here, correct

My understanding is you only have to tag it if it weighs over 2000lbs.

Just doesn't make sense to me to register my boat in Kansas and pay $1,100 a year when the value is less than $30K. Compare that to a Coach Motorhome that is worth $500K and the property taxes are less $1,000 a year. That don't make sense to me. Kansas has their head up thier azz, and me registering my boat in OK doesn't make the taxes in KS higher.

I guess the only reaspn to register in Kansas would be to do it the legal way.But I guess if you want free reign to do something illegal for a small bit of personal gain then I guess it's OK for me to do something illegal for my personal reasons to then,huh . Soon using this mentality......anarchy.

I think the bank is requiring me to register it in KS

I've got a few boats floatin around now between CL and talkin to you guys on here so hopefully I can pin down what I want soon.
