    1 & 2

Since Steve had the winning competitor in his boat at the State Youth Qualifier and I had the second place competitor in mine you guys should probably owe us a frosty cold beverage of our choice.

Personally I was a main laker. The kids didn't know what they wanted so I had to ask what specifically their strengths were and points seemed to be pretty much what they knew so we hopped points just up past the Timber Hill ramp and back down the other side.

    Re: 1 & 2 (Hydrilla Gorilla)

I had Brande Branine, she is probably the most focused young anger i have ever met. She had a game plan, she knew the exact area she wanted to fish, and executed her plan very well.

Her only problem was where she wanted to fish was right in the trees on a main lake point in a howling 30mph wind, was very hard to have any boat control there. and after a few hours my trolling motor batteries were getting weak, She did manage to pull three or four keepers of that area before we were forced to abandon it for the lee ward side of the lake.

Congratulation to Brande Branine, truly amazing young bass angler.

You should ask her to give you some pointers / how to's and such. Sounds like she's a good angler to know.
