Got to meet the Bass Boss Saturday night

Well Larry, Bill and i attended the KBCFN Banquet Saturday night. Got to spend about 15 minutes talking with with the special guest speaker, Ray Scott.

He was very interesting gentleman, full of story's. it was a great honor to meet him.

No - he seemed pretty sober, i was almost embarrassed for the guy the way he was hocking his book and selling his autographed hats... i kept thinking to myself " look how far we have fallen " ....

He didn't want to talk about the ESPN owned federation, just told old stories from before the ESPN era.

Ray Scott the master salesman... Man would sell his soul for a dollar.. Most likely already has..... I asked a guy once from Ranger what Forrest Wood thought when Ray started pitching for Triton. He said Forrest was hurt but understood. Forrest Wood was and is the true BASS BOSS as BASS would be no where with out him. Forrest Wood a true class act. Ray Scott a real class Sorry my rant for the day is over...

Cheaper to keep a kid in tourney fishing than paying attorneys to keep them out of jail !!
