A pretty good shoot for a couple of of turkeys. Excellent time hunting with RJ and his Dad. Couldn't ask for better company on a hunt. RJ bro, you had me cracking up all morning!
I should mention that Randy will go to great extremes to retrieve a downed duck as well. To include driving to the other side of the river, walking 250 yards and scaling a 20 ft bank down to the river and then digging the duck out of a brush pile. Now that is "making every effort to retrieve your downed game".

sounds like a great Morning Hunt,, but tell Randy to let the Dog retrieve the birds
yeah, it was a blast! Dad's dog cut his paw on some glass on the river bottom, so he didn't get any shooting in. He left early to take his mutt home. When he came back we started working on his limit for him. We shot 2 geese, 8 mallards, 2 teal and a goldeneye and ring neck. Was awesome! Tomorrow should be just as good.
