I just finished building a rather stout 300 pro-max for a longtime customer, and wanted to share the results with you guys. My customer had ran his 300 without oil, and could not hear the warning alarm, so his engine blew beyond reasonable repair. He decided he wanted more power, so we custom built a stroker with the new 3.2 stroker 300xs crank (custom machine work needed of course to fit it all the extra stroke in there)We used a pro fuel controller from Simon to alter the fuel curve, but other than that, the intake-throttle body-reed blocks-efi system, etc is all STOCK original 98 pro-max 300) It has been to the lake a few times, and is still breaking in, but this thing is a beast!!!! Its on a bullet 21xdc, with 16" setback and a spinnelli 30, 1.62 SM. The original engine would turn this combo 5800, with a moderate holeshot. The new stroker jumps out of the hole and turns 6200. We will be dyno testing this engine in a couple weeks, and will post the dyno sheet. The bottom end and midrange torque this thing has is just freakin amazing!!
