New additon to the family!

Picked this big boy up at the animal shelter. Does he look like a American bulldog or a Pit? If he's a Pit he's the biggest one I've ever seen. Either way he is a lovable dog. Doesn't show any aggression to our chihuahua or cats.

He was chipped by the breeder, but he first deadbeat owner didn't register him. There are two types one from the Johnson lines which have more of a bully look and one like this. Here is a few pics of pure bread ABD's for comparison.

Nice dog Brad His head has the same look as Buster's. He is a mixed dog, part pit. If yours is a pure bred then I don't think he is a Pit though.

our Neighbors just got a Puppy that is a Lab/Pit mix in Brindle..............that Definately doesnt look liek it has ANY pit in him at all........yeah & too big too................Looks like he'll be a GOOBER though

Definately not a Standard American(johnson line as your link) though........have to see him standing but does not look liek his Chest is too Deep & front Shoulder may not be Braod enough........Not sure about how much of a mix he is but there is some type of it with him I think??..................I would guess Mastif maybe but not sure really

I heard a story about an abused kid from Kansas. The judge wanted to give custody to the grandparents, but the kid insisted that it wasn't a good idea and that much like his parents his grandparents also beat him. The judge then decided it was the best interest of the child that his aunt should have custody. Once again the kid shuddered and refused to be placed with his aunt because she too beat him. The judge a little more than frustrated asked the child " Well who do you think should have custody of you?" The kid replied " I would like to be in the custody of the Nebraska Cornhusker football team!" The judge looked at the kid and asked " Why on earth would you want to be in the care of the Nebraska Cornhusker football team?" The kid replied " The Huskers are incapable of beating anybody!!"
