There are some great deals to be had out there on trucks, esp. Dodge. 40% off. That is if you want to own a Dodge.
Anyway, do you think the price of boats will eventually do the same?

I'm kinda figuring with my gf and I nailing down decent paying and stable jobs within the next 6 months; it will be a heck of a good time to start looking at new trucks/housing/boats(?) as prices all seem to keep fallingOh, but there is that annoying gas payment though

Ya never know-- Everything that is shipped is going up--food is getting high $

I think guys will be looking closer at the 17.5' and 18.5' with a 125-150hp motor.. Cost less to tow and less to run across the lake.
Maybe hold a mini-Rally at some pond insted of a lake-- Sure would save $$$ and (depending on the pond) may catch more fish![]()

And maybe that evening--have a swap and shop -- sell / trade all that fishing stuff you never use/ pig-roast

The only thing that is NOT going up is my pay![]()

Cheaper to keep a kid in tourney fishing than paying attorneys to keep them out of jail !!

</TD></TR></TABLE>Making large purchases with a gf? WTF? You are kidding right? Unless you plan on putting a ring on her finger that may be a big mistake. Might see you on Judge Judy if the relationship doesn't work.

Hell if I weren't in her life she'd have no use for a truck/boat.... She wouldn't demand she got the truck/boat just to pizz me off would she???
.... dammit, your prob right![]()
I bought 2 houses with my gf at the time, who I eventually married and it worked out just fine.

Heck it would've been better if we could've stayed not married, but she would have none of that. When we got married our Fed income tax shot up 4 grand, but thanks to Pres. Bush, we got some relief from it. Obama gets in and bend the phuck over.

me too. Well, 1 house so far.![]()
Saw this on another board-----
Ranger announcing it cut production by as much as 30% recently due to slowing demand. I guess people are losing their desire to go into debt $54k with the cost of everything else going through the roof. If sales don't recover does anyone think the boat builders will start re-thinking puting all the expensive components on the boats that they added over the past couple years when we were all flush with cash and they could get away with taking a $40k boat and making it a $54k boat?
