We lost

No doubt we were the best team there, but we lost in the semi finals to MSG by one point. I know it doesnt sound good because we lost, but we got screwed by the refs. You know it is true when the opposing team's coaches and fans tell you that. In the end we beat Olpe for 3rd,the highest a Crest team has ever finished. I just cant get over how bad we got screwed. Just call after call. In the last 8 seconds one of our all star boys took the ball down and lauched one, getting fouled like no other. The refs just ran off the court not bothering to make the call. We would of won or at least tied off those free throws. The other teams coach said to our coach "You were fouled, you should be shootin 2"

The thing that killed us were the fouls that werent being called. THey gained the lead with 8 seconds to go off 2 free throws. But they didnt call the foul at the very end. Overall they called fouls that didnt happen on us and didnt call fouls that happened on them

Good news is, we are only losing one boy (Mike Weldin's boy) . He will be missed, and is a beast on defense and extremely hard working. but we'll move on. Our two "all stars" are jrs. Overall we lose one boy off the whole team

We were never ranked #1. We were only ranked #7.
