shooting bench

i'm going to build a shooting bench,, platform is going to be 3' x 5',, how tall should it be... got a metal table fram that is 32" tall ,that i'm thinking of using.. going to put wheels on 1 end to make it easier to move .. i can only get 125 yds on my range and be safe

build it to you, set the height, so that you are slightly bent forward with the stock of the rifle in the pocket of your shoulder. that way you can sight in or shoot and be comfortable. hope this helps Melvin

I would say about regulation table height since you will probably use a sandbag or some other support.
