    10" worm???

I have been told that this is a great summer time LM bait. I haven't ever thrown it much. I did a few summers ago and did catch fish on them. All I had were black power worms. What are some of your favorite colors?

That pretty much sums it up. Red Shad is hard to beat. Slick sent me some 10" Dr. Destructo FBB worms recently in Cranberry and they are a GREAT color. What I've noticed about the FBB 10" worm versus the Powerworm is that the FBB is a more supple plastic and the hook sets easier than on the more rigid powerbait worm. Of note I have used powerworms for years without a problem, but I've honestly found a better product in Fish Blaster Baits.

I've thrown zoom 10" worms before but didn't feel too confident, I picked up some Zoom Mag II's a few weeks ago and have caught a lot on them. I think they are 9" but feel so much better to me to fish. Not overly large feeling like a 10" and not too small like some of the 7". Plum is a darn good color

Both the Berkley power worm and Culprit are great 10'' worms and I used to use them all the time too, they are tops for a lot of anglers and will remain their #1 worm until they try the FBB 10'' Dr.Destructo.
Just like any other bait, Rapala was the most sought after bait in the world until someone tried another hard bait and then..... well you know. Didn't make the Rapala any less of a fish catching bait but the characteristics such as the finish and ACTION made a bigger difference with newer brands. So unless the angler trys the Dr. Destructo 10'' worm they won't notice any difference and again that won't make the Power worm or Culprit any less productive but Like Bob / Hydrilla Gorilla said it will make a difference consistently and now that the price is only $2.99 per pack couldn't be a better time to put them to the test! Doesn't mean you you have to throw away the other brands, just add to some leverage to your catching abilities

They caught feeesh but I wasnt convinced thye were the chit................bought some Culprit 10' and was a lot more impressed and more consisitent in catching but still slower than my 7.5" worms but the sizes went up
