Weekend?

Looks like We are taking a road trip to Oak, NE tomorrow.........then i get to put a Starter in father in laws Yotter on Sunday........no feeshin in my plans unless I Squeeze something in but I'm not worried too much about it since its been tough bite the last couple weekends

I am going to clean my garage and finish up my cabinets. Then it is off to my inlaws .

Still no fishing in my future but it is coming. Just got word that my buddy Kevin Beeman is going to be back in town for 2 weeks in August. There will be a full weekend of hitting ponds and ripping out some toads. Caught some monsters last year. I will definitely try to get a camera for this time. we have a few ponds that should be matted over by then. Gawd I love throwing frogs down there.

Plus make a monthly boat payment. Gas is expensive. Share the wealth! It is after all a big block 3.1 Litre Hammer which is probably the worst gas guzzlin outboart in existence!! But faster than those 200 Optimax motors

On Brads defense, that is kind of how we work it. I have offered money for gas before when we fish local, but he didn't want it, so if we go anywere else I will usually tow to make up for it.

Also it is more comfortable and we want to make sure we get there and back

I hear ya on that one. One of my good buddies who I always fished with (Brad, you know who) doesn't come with me anymore. I got tired of taking him all the time with my boat and truck and never get any help. Did that for 4 years. I think I got $50 in all 4 years from him. Not anymore. So, of course, I feel your pain.

Sarge did tow the boat twice. Once to Clear Creak, and to Tom Steed. We should have stayed home for the Steed trip! Gas is ridiculous considering when I run at wide open throttle I burn 4 gallons per hour. When towing the boat I probably get 12 miles per gallon which equates to about $9 bucks to the lake and back every trip. Not to mention that Oil is $25 bucks a gallon also, plus fuel additive at $6.00 per 16 g's of Gas. The fuel and oil, etc. for the truck and boat is higher than the monthly payment for the boat. POST IS NOW OFFICIALLY JACKED!

The post hasn't been jacked! My plans are to spend ridiculous amounts of money on gas and oil trying to find little green fish!
