    Did anyone go to Eldorado?

For the second week now I have driven to Eldorado to find the lake 5 feet high and the boat ramps unusable.

A lot of people are still using them, but it's a little tuff when you are by yourself.
I don't like wading up to my ars in water at 5:00 in the AM.

Does anyone know when of if they plan on letting any water out soon?

I’m under the impression that there’s no plan to release water due to what’s already down stream. Maybe we ought to call Eric and have him change the location?

Unless they plan on renting a tractor and launching all of the boats they can count me out.
If I back my van down that far in the water I'll Fill it up.

My club had a T there on Sunday. Drove by it on friday and the water was up in the grass and willow tree's sure does look inviting!

Bob you talking about changing the location for your club T or Mr Bass? Off limits has already began I believe and I'm sure that alot of folks have local lodging reservations.

That sounds like it SUCKS I have only been to lake that bad and was just thid May........had a bad T-storm blow through overnight and raised water level at lake 4 feet or better......Boat ramp was under water but we still launched boats......since you couldnt see the ramp we had guys stnding st the ramp to reference location.........going one at a time was pretty slow but we got it dont.......nothing like sitting in a truck and seeing water in front of you for about 15 feet launching

Mr. Bass... But I'm just talking to be talking. I have no vested interest in having it here or there since I will not compete But I plan on going along as an observer for Dennis

Thats how they are doing it at Eldorado.
Mostly jet ski's and drunks on pontoons.

A few fisherman but not many.

Every boat ramp is the same. They are all underwater.

I was on El Dorado a week ago. The ramp at Shady Creek is the only one I saw where the top of the ramp was actually out of the water. Sailboat Cove and Starrett Creek definitely have water over the top of the ramp and in the parking lot. Here's a link to the El Dorado lake level http://www.swt-wc.usace.army.m....html

Good luck to all of you fishing Mr. Bass. BTW - when & where is tha weigh-in?
