My buddy went down to Milford two weekends ago and said he did well on smallies. Good numbers of decent fish and some nice LM's as well. He has a 5.1 to his credit from there the same month I caught my 4-13 and said he had another smallie in the 5 lb class that he hooked in the shallows on for a while, jumped twice and spit the hook. He's a quiet guy and doesn't brag or show off, so I believe him if he said it was around 5.

I also lost a 5+ smallie the other day. I was sick!! The fishing is definately finally starting to get good.
