We were down there for a meeting last year and the zebra mussels were unbelievable! Never have fished it, but it has smallmouth in it. I suppose that this tournament is a "set up" for a local to win. I am qualified also to fish Mr. Bass, but I think I will pass on this Lake. Good Luck!
Let me clarify my remarks from the above, it is my opinion (like it or not) that El Dorado in the Summer favors local anglers much more that any other lake. I just thought that the Federation would pick a better lake than El Dorado to fish Mr. Bass. I have not fished El Dorado and probabaly never will due to the fact of the difficulty in getting back to the river. I value my lower unit and fiberglass too much!
