    96 225 pro max update

been having a issue with a bad hollow sounding idle and surging around 4000rpms if I could ever get the boat to plane off. Sometimes it will not go over 1800 rpms. looked at all the usual places for the problem, fuel pressure, spark , compression, stator, coils to no avail. A friend let me try his computer and the boat ran like it was supposed to, put mine back on and it sounds funny and want hardly go over 1800rpm. So it is a bad computer. Should I have mine rebuilt or get a new one or is a Brutaco better than a original.
