Big Rain--My Dam Broke

Well, we ended up with about 5" total, with a 3.25 kicker in 45 minutes. Had about a foot of water going over my dam at my house. After about 45 minutes, I lost my little bass pond. Cut right through the dam. If I can bring myself to do it, I'll post some pics. Was going to stock it this year. Time to get the dozer out again and start over. Had over 60 hours of labor into that little dam.

A friend of mine here in OK had a really nice established pond with vegetation, standing timber. It was full of BIG crappie and bass. Same thing happened. spring rains came and washed the dam away. It was almost 12 years old.
