Its not the snow that has me worried but the 20 degree temperatures we're going to have. Could be a bad year for wheat farmers.

Maybe a replay of 96 when it froze in SC KS and a lot of guys tore up their wheat thinking it was toast. The guys that didn't had their best crop in years...

Hope we don't kill this thing, been a long time since we had a crop coming on like this one...it would actually be good for it to snow about 4 inches everywhere to shelter the wheat from the cold the next couple nights.

Just depends on the stage of the wheat. If its still not jointing then it'll take it pretty good but if its jointing and into flag leaf (like some are claiming) then thats where the worst is going to be. It'll be interesting to see how it plays out. There is definitely some amazing looking wheat pretty much state wide.
