Last night I went to my parents in Humboldt. I wanted to leave after work but the wife didn't get off till almost 10. Well we left as soon as we could and at around 11:30 I hit a 6 point buck with my truck. Now I need a new bumper and grill. No big deal the lights still work and it ran. Well this morning we packed up the Uhaul and Dana followed me to Howard. We almost made it there and I looked back and Dana was gone. She had been lucky enough to be driving it when the fuel pump decided to take a crap. Best part of the day is my Grandpa is a tow truck driver and mechanic in Eureka so I talked him into coming and getting it for me. So it looks like after my $500 deductible and a $300 fuel pump I would have been better paying someone to move my parents.
Downside is I can't get the fuel pump in until Monday so it looks like I am driving my Grandma's Topaz for a week. I just don't know how it could get better. Yeah I do.... I am going to get myself D - runk.
