It's been like that around here, but the weekend looks like it will be stellar.

They are at Lakeview Resort. We stayed there in the spring and it was a pretty comfortable place. Tight on parking, but nice and right on the water. http://www.lakeview-resort.com/

We try to get the cabins right out on the point and it's a nice peaceful stay.
Only place I;ve stayed for more than a day down there was Tan-Tar-A by Osage.....nice area but too busy af an area to relax in. Had golf corse and other recreation right there but getting to water was another story. Restraunt was good and nice scenary from atop hill but hellava walk to get to water. They had a boat show there while stay so we got to see a lot of Wooden Chris Crafts while there....those are neet! I ended up going trap shooting after meetings but I shoulda gone feeshn
Ran into Tom Murphy there too! He was doin a fishing Seminar I guess....didnt get to see much of him but that was B4 he was on the boards here too.
I think any place you stay down there after April and before October is BUSY area. A lot of the "away" places that we go to that are pleasure boater type lakes we try to hit either early or late in the year. Table Rock will always be a March and November trip LOZ April & October.
Hey Bob ... It finally stopped raining just a little after noon. but the wind is picking up, 30 mph stright out of the north. Dex and I got out and fished around the docks here at Lakeview, but dang it was cold! ... Had one bite not 50 fet from the cabin back door .... Sure hope the ind dies down and the sun come out tommorrow ..
