Question from not so mechanical guy.. 97 200hp Evinrude Vindicator

Guys, i started having some issues with motor not wanting to idle and bogging down when trying to take off. This started last year and i replaced plugs.. However, my first trip out this year it started right up ran to first spot no issue thought i was good.. Then when i started to go to next spot it was bogging again.. If you let it sit for a bit usually it will act normall agian.. We went to the next spot and on the way home it got up on plane and was trying to go but every so often it would almost feel like it was missing.. When we got near marina it would not idle.. I use marine stabil every fill up and when stored.. Any help would be great thanks..

look at the top left throttle body and check the linkage. On the post there should be a clear roller over the solid black plastic pin. The roller needs to be there. Also check your primer solenoid. It's next to the VRO pump there is a red lever on it that lever should be pointed straight down. Inspect your small recirc hoses for splits that may cause a vacuum leak. when it is idling, what is the RPM's in neutral and in gear?
