I grease mine on a regular basis.

Dont get to much grease or it makes a mess and a bit difficult to clean up.

Ddddddddaaaaaaaaaannnnnnnnggggggg Hate it when that happens on the serious side, read an article while back where they were stealing your boat trailer at the ramp while you are out fishing. That would suck I bought a trailer lock after that and jacked up the threads to keep them from taking the ball off the hitch.
