2006 Etec 225 HO lower unit oil

Can the new HPF PRO be mixed with the old HPF XR? Thanks.

It's best not to because there may be an inter-reaction between the additives. They are different types of lubes.

Thank you. Should I flush the gearcase since I have been using the XR or will the residual left after draining not be a problem when I fill with PRO?

Let it drain for about 1/2 hour if the weather is warm, longer in cold weather.
