Clinton Lake this weekend

Going to be hitting Clinton this weekend.. Will fish early and off the lake early..
Anyone fished Clinton lately.. Any ideas on spots and lures to try..

Rick,
I have always liked fishing rivers and creeks, so if you can wind your way slowly through all the standing timber and go under the bridge, fish everything past there up in the river. There is all kinds of good stuff to fish. Chunk a spinnerbait, and if that doesn't work chunk a spinnerbait. That or flip a creature bait or worm into the cover. Remember that back in rivers and creeks to fish the bends and corners and not the straightaways, along with all the side coves, etc... Usually, you can have it all to yourself, too.

I did hear a nasty rumor that the walleye were going crazy there about a week ago. Couldn't keep them off the hook.

you can always get up rock creek and its not as trechurous as the river

Thanks guys-- I was planning on staying on the west rnd of the lake -- Stay away from the alot of the ski / PWC traffic..

Getting ready for the weekend,---
Cooked up 40 burgers -- 5# of taco meat -- double batch of chocolate chip cookies-- carrot cake with cream cheese frosting----

If all-ya-all stop by-- I'm ready-- Need to get some more -- fill up the boat -- rods and reels are loaded-- -- Now I'm going to get loaded..
