i just got a ranger 364v with johnson 150gt model number plate is not on jack plate does anyone know another place on the motor i can find model #

Model # won't be on the jack plate it will be on the port side motor bracket. If that is missing, more than likely the boat and motor were sold as a package. Two things will help identify it. The last two digits on the Hull ID # and the color of the cowl.

thanks, the cowl is dark gray the last two numbers are 89. nothing on the port side bracket. i got the serial # for the motor seem like there should be some kind of way to cross reference the serial # or is there ?
