There are way more bass fishermen in Missourri than in Kansas and I have to assume probably more members on this board as well, but the Kansas Bass Club Forum is kicking their butt!! I just checked it out and hardly anyone posts over there. I was really suprised as I kind of think of Missouri as the center of the universe as far as bass fishing is concerned. Glad to see we have good participation from us Kansas boys!
That's only because the Bass fishing in Nebraska isn't the best so we are force to drive cross boarder to actually get good feeshin done.................kansas being the closest for some of us, Missouri comin in a close second & SW parts of Iowa in 3rd.
I have yet to get Missouri rivaaaa feeshin in west of Lewis & Clark lake........There are some that say it is a good area, Brain Caughron as one.......

You wouldn't think so with all the NE tags you see at our lakes..
On your comment about Lewis and Clark Lake on the Missouri River, I would fish it all the time if I lived near there. It's loaded with smallies.
I would love to just get out and fish period. Too busy with this:
Burchard is about 20 miles SE of Beatrice. I can get there in about 1 hour if & take Hwy 2 to Hwy 50 then south to Hwy 4 west, not bad of a drive unless I take Hwy 77 through Beatrice then take Hwy 4 down. Almost 1.5 hours that way.
Go to google maps & find Burchard NE. Use the Hybrid map & it's a horeshoe lake just NE of the town.
Buchard is aprox 120 Acre lake which has a 21" size limit on LM. I have fished it off & On with very good luck. This spring will be good cause there are a few pigs in there just waiting to get caught. I've had several 4+lbers last year so this year should be excellent. I have only gone in early spring & late summer/early fall. I might try & go more this year.
If you wanna hook up with me this spring at this alke let me know & I'll put ya on the water. My boat ain't as big as yours but it's still enough room for 2 guys.
