Was doing a little bank fishing at my place on Nolin yesterday afternoon and when bringing my little crappie jig by a couple of trees fry jumped out. What could have already spawned that would have fry an 1/8" long already?

I made that up but I suppose it could have been lm

Guess the conditons was right in the pond with warm temps. Only fish in there is bass.

I would bet they were largemouth fry Joe. I would bet some spawned very early this year.

Shad spawn later than LM. I sure hope they haven't already spawned. Oh well.![]()
