    Question about gas ...

I've got a little 15hp Johnson 2-stroke that I am bound and determined to keep ethonol free, but it's getting harder by the day. I recently filled up at a gas station near my house that had ethonol free, but only in premium. How will that effect the performance of the motor? Do I need to adjust the carberator for the higher octane?

Welcome to BBC Casey! How in the world did you find this place?

SeaHorse or ChampioNman will probably be along after 5:00pm. They'll get you going.

Some brilliant guy on another forum I'm on recommended it. Thanks. I'm pretty mechanically inclined, but always interested in what the experts have to say.

Steve told me to tell you that you don't need to change your jets when you change your fuel. You don't !

Re: Question about gas ... (ChampioNman)

Ha! I'll get the model # tomorrow. Thanks for the help. If it gets me any bonus points (it may kill any chance of help I might get, too), I was smart enough to marry a Clemson grad.
