Where you can take your kids to shoot targets with bb guns? I'd prefer to stay in southern indiana, is there such a law that restricts where you can go if ti isn't a firearm?

I think it's still considered a firearm....I was always in trouble with the law growing up with my bb gun. The city ordinance had a law against shooting firearms within city limits....I argued and argued, usually with the same cop, that it didn't have any "fire" to it, and that it was just air....I never won that battle....![]()
that sucks
If you know anyone with a few acres in the country maybe they'd let you set up a few targets for the kids to shoot at.![]()

Good call, I found a guy and he just happened to want to teach his grandkid how to shoot, so we made a deal.![]()
my dad used to let me shoot mine in the basement. He took a stiff cardboard box and stuffed feather pillows in it. The BBs never penetrated the pillows, but were in the bottom of the box. Now granted my gun was the single (edit) Daisy, not a pump model like a crossman
I think you are mostly against city ordinances with BB guns.
The very best back stop for BBs is a sheet hung over the clothesline with the bottom in a wash tub. Most all the BBs end up in the tub. Saved me a lot of money when I was a kid.
We had bb gun wars in Murray. Even had the green army men set up in my back yard and shot them. Those were the days.![]()

We did that too.I remember trying to set them up so they weren't in a line or close together so the other guy couldn't get two with one shot.
People would claim you were creating serial killers these days if you let kids do that.![]()
