    Derby Pics

Alright guys it's here!!! The local holiday including the Oaks. It is impossible to get any work done around here this entire week. What's everyone's pick?
I'm no expert by any means, but my Trifecta is: Shackelford, Nehro, Twice the Appeal. I don't like picking favorites...

    Dialed In for the win

    Midnight Interlude to place

    Shackleford to show

Twice the Appeal is the wildcard, since Borel is on the mount, and has never raced him.

Going to the off track joint in a bit to place some bets, never bet on horses so this will be quite the experience. From what I have read if its raining and shitty Pants on Fire is a good choice.

Im clueless, kind of like bass fishing so Im just gonna wing it and have fun!

I like Nehro, Pants on Fire and Stay Thirsty.

    Re: Derby Pics (Big Dummy)

Our main one scratched today! Uncle Mo. Other than that the field is wide open we(wife and I) feel. Going to be a real interesting race. Twice something got bet down to 7-1 from 30-1 just do to the jockey. And the jockeys still being switch around. Going to be real interesting to say the lest, especially if it rains like they saying its going to. No rain, usually good for come from behind horses, Sloppy track favors front runners. Take your pickand flip coin.

Boxing thats the cowards way to bet, just bet them straight up and get a much better return....IF you pick right

Well that makes about as much sense as a football bat. Boxing is the ONLY way to bet. Gambling isn't about pride, its about odds and making money(some days). Popped a $347 trifecta in the turf classic right before the derby. Thank goodness I had it boxed since 2nd and 3rd were flipped. Difference b/w a $1 bet and a $6 bet paid me 350. Of course I gave about a third of that back on the derby. If not for nehro finishing 2nd I'd have given 2/3 of it back but that's racing and putting a few $$ in the pocket.

    Re: Derby Pics (skeeterator)

Well I had a good trifecta going till one got pulled up on the back stretch

Kyle glad you pocketed some money. Wife and I stopped betting on horses LONG time ago, like 20 yrs ago. We now have friendly bets between the two of us
