    Tilt Trim resevoir leak

    the fluid leaks out each season. it is getting by the screwed on cap and i can't seem to get it fixed. should i purchase another cap ...or ... can i get an o-ring and install in the back of the cap???

    Todd, if you haven't tried the o-ring first, try that....then move on. Sometimes the easy things works.....

    Todd, there should be an O ring behind the cap. If not you can get one at Lowe's, etc.

    got the old o-ring out. kinda lost all its shape. put a new one in , filled it up and put the cap back on. lowered the engine.....will see tommorow.. thanks guys
