Which reel do you guy's like better ?Fixing to pull the trigger an have'nt ever even held the 50E .I think I would like the small line capacity of the 50E for flippin ,probably would'nt hold but 50yds. 20 lb flouro if that.Easy to peel off tie back on,Less waste.
I believe they are marketing the 50E as a finesse style reel. The smaller size and line capacity is kind of like the Diawa Sol. If it were me I would go with the 200E7 for being able to handle higher test line and also the 7.1 ratio. If you want a reel just for flipping look at the Shimano Castaic. It looks like an older Curado, but, has a large thumb bar that makes it easier to flip and pitch. There are Castaics on here for sale every now and then for around $100.
I LOVE my Curado E-7's I also have a Core which i believe it is the same frame as the 50E. I dont thinkg you go wrong with either. I use my E-7 for flipping and pitching and my core for my finesse jigs/shakey heads.

I've gotta say, I was pretty excited to see the 50E; until I put one in my hand. It "feels" cheap...
Even the guy at BPS said the same thing. I'll stick to my 200E7 ANYDAY
I read some reveiws somewhere that said the E7 was the better of the 2 ,just wanted some BBC'ers opinions .Think I'll go with the E 7.......
