Just bored. Wondering what everybodies opinion on what the worst bass lake in Kentucky would be?

I can't say that about Barren. It's been good to me. Lake Malone for me. I caught the biggest fish of my life there, 9.76 lbs, but the fish are just so moody. You can go one day, catch a butt load of fish and go back the next, with the exact same conditions, and not even get bit.

come fish the highly pressured small lakes of NE Ky, it'll make you thankful for what you central and western boys have..
TAYLORSVILLE!!!! its fun to fish, but man that place pisses me off![]()

At one time Taylorsville was a great place to fish. When I lived back home in Indiana, I used to make a couple of trips a year down there that was in the late 80's early 90's. Used to be good, but I think it got way too much pressure maybe?

Rough River. Only been there on 2 different days and I won't ever go back.
Other than that I've only fished Beshears and the twins. Really have no desire to fish any of the others.

How did you do on Beshears ? I have been thinking of running over there a few times next summer.

You live in Cadiz (Barkley and KY) and are wanting to drive all the way to Dawson to fish the dead sea? Good luck!

Amen.
Its a decent lake in the spring but I wouldn't waste my time any other time of year.

Of the ones I fish...Nolin is my most hated.
Lots of guys hate Herrington, but I have more confidence there than any lake I've ever fished. Wood Creek at Mt. Vernon has my number, I can't get bit there.![]()
